The New York Knicks have had anything but a normal start to the 2025-26 regular season. Injuries through the starting lineup, notching just one win on the road, and Karl-Anthony Towns’ shooting struggles have made it feel as if the world has been turned upside down.

If there’s one area that rarely gets mentioned, it’s the bench unit. No, I’m not talking about Josh Hart or Jordan Clarkson—I’m talking about the very end of the bench. Players who the front office has tasked with becoming potential contributors but simply haven’t been given the proper opportunities to perform.

New York has struggled recently in developing young talent, especially through the NBA Draft. Given the team’s most recent picks in the past few offseasons, the “new guys” only have so much playing time to work with.

Perhaps under new head coach Mike Brown, the Knicks could open up the rotation to allow rookies a chance to shine. With OG Anunoby’s recent injury, Mohamed Diawara has been given some minutes in the meantime. And when Deuce McBride is a no-go, Tyler Kolek has seen a sprinkle of minutes throughout his time.

But we can make assumptions all day long about how this team is run. We want to hear what you have to say.
