Knicks Draft 2025: Top Targets
The best prospects for the Knicks' #50 pick.
Amari Williams
From | Position | Age | Height | Weight |
---|---|---|---|---|
Kentucky | Center | 23 | 6’10 | 255 |
2024-25 Stats: 10.9 PPG | 8.5 RPG | 3.2 APG | 1.2 BPG | 56% FG
Amari is a bigman who possesses a massive wingspan at 7’6”. He can block shots and force defenders to shoot nearly 7% worse at the rim than usual. He’s also a terrific passer for a guy his size. He’s always looking for the open guy, and his passes are almost always crisp. He doesn't provide much offense, especially from deep, and doesn't have a great handle when forced to create, but he can finish strong. | ![]() via Wikipedia |
Eric Dixon
From | Position | Age | Height | Weight |
---|---|---|---|---|
Villanova | Forward | 24 | 6’7 | 256 |
2024-25 Stats: 23.3 PPG | 5.1 RPG | 1.9 APG | 45% FG | 41% 3P
![]() | I sometimes worried about his fit at the next level, but I don't care anymore because Dixon is a flat-out hooper! He’s insanely efficient at all three levels and has great range. He shot 40% from three on seven attempts per game and is a great free throw shooter at over 82% in last four years at Nova. Dixon led the NCAA in scoring and maintained it once conference play hit. His defense is a bit of a concern as he’s not a great athlete; he won’t give you much as a rim protector or defensive playmaker. |
Dink Pate
From | Position | Age | Height | Weight |
---|---|---|---|---|
G-League | Wing | 19 | 6’6 | 200 |
2024-25 Stats: 10.1 PPG | 5.2 RPG | 41% FG | 26% 3P | 63 FT%
Talent-wise, Dink might be a top-20 pick alone, but he struggled a lot in the G-League, although he made strides in Year 2. He might just be worth a shot for New York at #50 because of the talent alone. He has the size and scoring ability you want in a wing, and if coached up properly, he could become a solid rotation player. The efficiency numbers aren't pretty: he shot below 38% and below 25% from three in the G-League altogether. I know that sounds bad, but he played under bad circumstances, and I feel like he has potential to become a way more efficient player at the next level. | ![]() via NBA Big Board |
Koby Brea
From | Position | Age | Height | Weight |
---|---|---|---|---|
Kentucky | Wing | 22 | 6’5 | 200 |
2024-25 Stats: 11.6 PPG | 3.2 RPG | 47% FG | 43% 3P
![]() via WDRB | He might be my #1 target for the Knicks, although I think he'll be gone by #50. But if he’s not, dear Leon and company: TAKE HIM!!!! He’s an absolute sniper from three-point range. He showed he can shoot it with the best when he transferred over from Dayton to big-time Kentucky and the SEC, hitting 43% of his threes on high volume. He also shot 91% at the free throw line. Brea is simply the best shooter in the class. Yes, he has some issues on the defensive side along with poor measurables, but I don’t care - he can shoot it! |
