The New York Knicks took their first victory of the Summer League, defeating the Brooklyn Nets 97-93. It wasn’t pretty, but a pair of returning players broke out of slumps.

Tyler Kolek exploded in the first half, and MarJon Beauchamp got going in the second. Their offense, combined with the Knicks’ best defensive performance of these scrimmages, earned New York its first win.

Pacome Dadiet and Kevin McCullar Jr. sat, leaving more minutes for newcomers to make their mark. Let’s review the players who showed potential in the win.
