New York Knicks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 110-105: Captain Clutch comes through
Knicks blow a 19-point lead, but Jalen Brunson saves the day.

The New York Knicks survived a nail-biter against the 76ers, winning 110-105. New York turned a blowout into a close call but survived, thanks to Jalen Brunson’s clutch performance.
The Knicks contained Paul George and Tyrese Maxey in the first half, leading by as many as 19 points before the second quarter ended. They took a 16-point lead into the third quarter and looked poised to run away with the win.
But George and Maxey got going, and Philadelphia outworked the Knicks to earn a four-point lead during the final minutes of action. That’s when Jalen Brunson went berserk, drawing fouls and finishing baskets to drag the Knicks across the finish line with a win.
The blown lead makes the victory bittersweet. But there are reasons for optimism, such as Mikal Bridges waking up and Ariel Hukporti’s defensive impact. Let’s look at the players’ performances.
