The New York Knicks handled business, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 110-93. New York overcame a mid-game lull to shut down Portland and close strong.

The Knicks started slow, getting enough offense from Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby to hang on to a lead in the first quarter. But their defense lacked bite in a second quarter that saw Deni Avdija go off.

New York trailed heading into the third quarter and still looked a step slow. Portland’s lead ballooned to 14 points before the Knicks finally kicked into gear. The defense, led by OG Anunoby, forced turnovers that got the offense going in transition. Once the Knicks woke up, Portland had no answers, and the game was out of reach.

The wings showed out, and the Knicks won big. Let’s explore this victory through the performances.
