The New York Knicks lost by double-digits on consecutive nights. They lost to the San Antonio Spurs 120-105, then to the Hornets 115-98. They never got their legs under them, missing open looks and struggling to get stops.

The Knicks dug themselves holes early on both nights. In the first half against the Spurs, Karl-Anthony Towns shot 7/14 from the field. The rest of the starters went 3/24. Only four players scored in the first half against Charlotte.

New York trailed by double-digits heading into the third quarter of each game. They made brief runs to start each third quarter but ran out of gas each time.

Let’s see what can be fixed by reviewing the impact players.
