The New York Knicks have won three in a row after defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 137-114. The teams played competitive basketball for the first half, but New York ran away after halftime.
The Knicks struggled early on defense. But as they settled into the game, it became a battle of runs. Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo reminded the Garden of good old days, before Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby showed the present is even better. All while Jalen Brunson gave the offense whatever it needed, and Mitchell Robinson dominated the paint.
Things are looking up. Players who missed games early on have found their rhythm. The starting lineup looks increasingly comfortable. They don’t feel like they're forcing the issue for three-point attempts anymore, despite still getting more than 40 attempts up.
