The New York Knicks fell on the road to the Miami Heat 115-113. They fought hard, but remain winless on the road this season.
New York and Miami battled in a close, physical contest throughout the night. There weren’t many runs, and the lead never got too far before the trailing team rallied. The Heat took leads down the stretch of both halves, with New York making runs to close the gap.
New York moved the ball well, but couldn’t find any sustained hot hands unless Deuce McBride was shooting. When the game was on the line, McBride took a tough shot over multiple defenders that left Karl-Anthony Towns with a chance to rebound and score, but he missed two attempts.
The Knicks shot the ball poorly from three and missed six free throws, which proved costly. But the road does that to teams. Let’s check out the standout performances.
