The New York Knicks lost to the Phoenix Suns 112-107. The Knicks fought hard, but turnovers proved to be their undoing.
The Knicks started slow, but did enough to keep pace with Phoenix early. The Suns played physical defense that forced turnovers but made them susceptible to backdoor cuts. But Phoenix held the lead for most of the first half and finished with a two-point lead.
The second half turned into a game of runs. The Suns built their lead out of the gate, but New York came storming back. The teams continued exchanging runs until OG Anunoby tied the game with three minutes left. The team typically relies on Jalen Brunson in crunch time, but he missed shots and made two turnovers at crucial moments to seal the loss.
