New York Knicks start Summer League losing to the Detroit Pistons 104-86: No signs of growth

Not too much promise in any of the prospects' performances so far.

New York Knicks basketball returned with a whimper, as the Knicks were blown out in their first game of Summer League 104-86. Final scores don’t matter as much as individual performances, but it’s worrisome that Detroit has a case for the best three players on the floor in this game.

The Knicks couldn’t make three pointers, turned the ball over repeatedly, and had no answers for Detroit’s Ron Holland. Holland looked like a man amongst boys, while New York’s returning players didn’t look much different from last year. 

But there were five Knicks’ second round picks in this game, plus James Nnaji, a former 31st pick. So, let’s talk about how each player fared since we finally have new hoops to talk about!
