New York’s jumpers ran cold in Miami, and they were worse to start in Dallas. The Knicks shot 3/21 from deep in the first half but won the turnover and rebounding battles. Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges led the way to a two-point lead heading into the third quarter.

The offense kicked into gear in the third quarter, but D’Angelo Russell’s hot hand kept things close. That left New York in a dog fight throughout the fourth, with the teams going blow for blow.

The Knicks trailed as the final minute approached, but a pair of three-pointers from Landry Shamet saved the day. They missed four consecutive free throws to give Dallas more opportunities to tie or win the game. But New York held on to win.

Let’s check out the key performances of this gutsy win.
