The New York Knicks dispatched the Washington Wizards 122-103 in a game that got closer than it felt.

New York cruised through the first half, steadily building a 25-point lead behind excellent ball movement and shotmaking. Everyone had the hot hand.

But the Knicks took their opponents lightly. The Wizards staged a second-half comeback, getting to within striking distance of the lead. It took a timeout from Tom Thibodeau and the return of the starters to seal things.

Despite the second-half slip-up, this is a feel-good victory. A rookie shined, the wings hit shots, and KAT starred. Let’s check out the difference makers.
