The New York Knicks won both games of a weekend back-to-back against the Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns. They defeated the Hawks 121-105 first, then beat the Suns 112-98. New York sits at 50 wins this season.

New York started the weekend on fire, pouring in 78 points against the Atlanta Hawks. OG Anunoby, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mikal Bridges looked like a big three, while Josh Hart was the glue. New York’s lead swelled to 30 points or more repeatedly throughout the second half, and they only slowed down when the starters took an early rest.

The Knicks welcomed back Jalen Brunson and Deuce McBride against Phoenix, and it took their offense a while to catch rhythm. But the team steadily built its lead over the Suns, riding an explosive night from OG Anunoby to a comfortable victory.

For a change, there were no cardiac Knicks affairs, and everyone is getting healthy at the perfect time. Let’s explore the victories through performance recaps.
