The New York Knicks won three games in four nights, defeating the Orlando Magic 108-85, then beating the Washington Wizards twice 136-132 in the first game and 126-106 in the second.
The Magic forced New York into a physical battle that kept things tied through the first half. But their offense collapsed in the second half, and with Jalen Suggs in foul trouble, the Knicksā offense began to take off.
The Knicks played Washington a day later and showed signs of fatigue. No one shot well from three, and they had one of their worst defensive performances. But Jalen Brunson carried the Knicks to victory with a 55-point performance in overtime.
The rematch wasnāt as competitive. With a day to rest, New Yorkās offense was more potent. Josh Hart was a first-half catalyst, and Karl-Anthony Towns turned the second half into a dunk fest.
The Knicksā defense didnāt look great, and their shooting was inconsistent. But keeping in mind that these were three games in four days, itās impressive that they held out and won two by large margins.
Letās look at the key players and how they played key roles in the trio of wins.
